The Elephant continuous line started off as a Pink Elephant in 1966. I first used this yellow, green and blue sequence in 1971 when as “Fluorescephant” he appeared in two London Open exhibitions (International Amateur and the National Society, on the Mall). I thought it was time for him to be in an African setting.
