Skelldale. Continous line.

Skelldale is a single continuous line drawing and various colour sequences have been used. Mick Burton, 2013.

I was brought up in Ripon and we lived near the River Skell, which I sometimes walked along to Fountains Abbey. This was one of the first continuous lines I drew 45 years ago and it was black and white “Optical Art” at first. I thought it was time to do it in many colour sequences.
