I was interested in different states of reality and so did a colour sequence mouse, a shadowy alternate shade mouse and a faint tail only. My Grandad lived in Kilburn, North Yorkshire, and went to school with Robert Thompson, the “Mouseman” woodcarver. He would carve a mouse on his furniture, including pews and lecturn in Kilburn Church.
