I have thought for some time that my colour sequence had a Stained Glass effect. I went to Ripon Cathedral School and spent a lot of time looking at the stained glass. In 2012 I was in Durham Cathedral and imagined a horse shaped window for my horse. There is no mortar between the stones in the wall and if you hold my canvas up to the sun the light shines through the gaps. It also looks good on the wall !
